Bike & Beer Afternoon

Take a fall afternoon ride to check out the beautiful reds, browns and ambers of delicious Michigan beers (and leaves, too!). Visit two nearby brewpubs that you won’t want to miss, and ride gorgeous trails and country roads.

Choose the trip option that fits you best:

1. More Bike: Ride a 40+ mile loop, returning home, in part, on the new Platt Rd. bike trails.
2. More Beer: Ride 25 miles to Original Gravity, then get a biodeisel-powered ride home.

Whichever you choose, there are lots of reasons to go:

1. Cool Pubs. Corner Brew’s beer garden and open format make it a great place to talk, and Original Gravity is everything a brewpub should be – small batch handcrafted beers, good sandwiches, games, couches, and a sweet local vibe. It’s absolutely worth checking out.

2. Beautiful Rides. We hit some trails to take us out to Ypsilanti, then it’s gorgeous country back roads just outside Ann Arbor. The fall colors should be in full swing, so it’ll be a gorgeous day for biking.

3. Great Beers. Corner Brewery and Original Gravity were both started by local folks who love making beer, and wow, do they do it well. Let them show off some of their best brews for you.

4. Good People. I’d say we specialize in those. Looking for folks to ride with? or to drink beer with? we got ’em. (note, if you yourself happen to be “good people” you should totally come)

All this for $25. Oh, and the tour also includes:
– Route maps, fully scouted
– Support vehicle on hand with tools and extra tubes
– Tastes of each beer on tap at Corner and OG
– Brewery tour(s)
– A ride home at the end of the day
– Discounts on bike accessories and tune-ups at Wheels In Motion (it’s $20 off a tune-up, so if you were going to get one anyway consider the ride almost free)
